    Summary :

In this case series, it was aimed to examine transgender women who applied for gender reassignment surgeries in terms of paternal image and authority using projective tests. Transsexual is a person who is dissatisfied with the bodily sex he borns with and wants to have the biological, psychological and social characteristics of the opposite sex. Transgender women are individuals who are born with male gender characteristics and want to be a woman. In this case series, 15 volunteer transgender women between the ages of 18-45 who applied to the hospital for gender reassignment surgery and were followed up and diagnosed with Gender Dysphoria were examined. When the responses of the participants to the IV,VI,I,VII,IX and 1,5,6BM,6GF,7BM Cards in the Rorchach and TAT tests are evaluated, it is seen that the paternal image and authority are devalued for these individuals, distance is taken, and thus a paternal authority difficulty emerges. can be said. However, when the image of authority is examined, the dominance of the maternal superego and a symbiotic relationship pattern with the mother also come to the fore.
