    Summary :

The clinical case by Mario can be seen within the framework of a depression disease. In this article we will further study the representation regarding the theory of object relations. We attempt to demonstrate the value of a projective clinical approach which, through the study of the representation on the Rorschach, makes it possible to understand mental functioning. This clinical case suggests that mode of thought and perception fragmented, serves as a way of modulating intense negative affects and that failure in the task of the object relations, intensifies the archaic defence mechanisms. In other words, the highly stimulating mental events associated with unconscious sexuality reduce the effort to make contact with the mind and favour recourse to the body. This is the case of essential depression, otherwise known as corporal.
