Gölgem** never thought of consulting to a hospital eventhough he had spent whole summer in his room without leaving for anything - şncluding making his toilet,he had suicide attempts many times and lost his father at an earthquake. Only when his best friend, who has been hospitalized after a suicide attempt following a nervous breakdown, asked him to stay in hospital with him, he thought that maybe someting was going wrong. When his internal conflicts moved him to the point to reject the reality of the outside world, he used the power of his rich imagination world and intelectual capacity as a shelter. In this work, we used projective tests to assess inner world of the 23 years old conservatory student, who has hospitilized for the first time. Rorschach, TAT and DIO drawing test were applied and interpretted according to psychoanalytic approach. Test protocols were approached in the context of the relationship between psychosis and creativity, beside we considered patiten's persecution anxiety and his difficulties in sexual identification. * In Turkish, that expression also means go to bed, to sleep ** Gölgem means ?My shadow?: a name he called one his characters in D10 drawing test.
