As a result of Rorschach assessments, patients that have consulted to psychiatric/ psychotherapeutic treatment with different symptoms have found to show similar characteristics. These features can be listed as relationship with reality, thought disorder, impulsivity, self representation, object relations, affect and defense mechanisms. It is found that the response rates are high, they exhibit slight thought disorder that can be evaluated wihin psychotic functioning; but, the main problem is coping with the depressive affect. Anxiety related to loss and death have negatively effected the stability of self, these patients have shown a great need for object in order to survive. The intensity of drives and continous search for object related to this have caused deterioration in object relations; the mechanisms that are used are more primary and the worsening of functioning is an important finding. The intense cathexis on the outside world can be deceitful, having gone through projective assessment is something that can be very significant in treatment planning.
