    Munchausen Syndrome which is described in the group of Factitious Disorders that have physical symptoms and indications is evident with gaining no objective benefits besides taking attention and/or providing emotional satisfaction. Because there is a small number of cases with Factitious Disorders and because this small number of cases contact with other hospitals to skip from psychiatric evaluation. Factitious Disorders is not a psychiatric disorder group that we can easily analyze the psychological functioning of it. In this context, the small numbers of patients which we seize the opportunity to analyze with projective tools are providing limited information about these cases. In this case study, a 63 years old woman will be presented who has recurrent nonspecific lesions in different parts of her body and who has undergone serious operations for fourteen years. Psychoanalytic theory focuses on the Factitious Disorder with the concepts of "domination, masochism and mothering". This case will be taken in terms of psychoanalytic theory, defense mechanisms where manic defenses have an important place, self-perception and object relations.
